Senoro Geologist (Jakarta - Site)

Position Description

  • Conduct evaluation in geological in order to develop hydro-carbon resources to help the management decide drilling operation activity
  • Plan / study and interpret geological data, seismic and logs of wells to produce an accurate information & analysis.
  • Conduct evaluation and counting amount of reserve hydro-carbon from production of well exploration to be used as basic design of field development program.
  • Evaluate drilling production, post mortem, drafting well’s final report, plan and monitoring sample analysis for property’s reservoir, sedimentation and geo-chemistry.
  • Evaluate wells data, seismic, making structure, stratigraphic cross section and depth structure map in order to plan drilling delineation.
  • Prepare geological prognosis, drilling proposal montage and ATD for wells exploration and developing.
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in Petroleum / Geologist
  • Minimum 7 years experience in related job

  • Training in Prospected Evaluation
  • Training in Petroleum system & petrography analysis

Objective:
To commercialise the 167.66 MMBOE of contingent gas resources of Senoro field and explore direct gas sales and working alliances with potential international downstream customers. At the same time to gain experience in constructing and operating LNG facilities, as well as gas transportation.

Commitment:
Upstream:
To supply 250 Million Standard Cubic Feet per Day (MMCFD) of gas for 15 years contract period starting in second semester of 2012 to liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant which will be constructed by DSLNG. The gas price will be tied to Japan Crude Cocktail (JCC), pursuant to Head of Agreement for sales and purchase of gas signed in August 2008.

Downstream:
To develop, construct and operate an LNG Plant with production capacity of approximately two million tons per annum, located in Banggai Regency, Central Sulawesi Province, which utilized gas from Senoro field and four fields in Matindok Block, which is operated solely by Pertamina.

  • GSA signed on January 22, 2009
  • Complete drilling on Senoro-6;
  • Prepare drilling of Cendanapura-1 well;
  • Reserve assessment by GCA completed;
  • Final Investment Decision Approved on January 24th, 2011;
  • Change of working interest-ownership from 50% to 30% on January 31st, 2011;
  • Received US$260mn from the 20% sale to Mitsubishi;
  • Financing – negotiations with commercial banks
